Sulphur
Sublimated sulphur
The great antipsoric remedy. Philosophical, untidy, burning sensations; aggravated by heat and bathing.
Sulphur is the pre-eminent antipsoric remedy in Hahnemann's chronic disease doctrine. Its proving picture encompasses virtually every organ system, making it a true polychrest of the first order.
Constitution: The Sulphur patient tends toward a philosophical, speculative turn of mind — often untidy in personal appearance and surroundings, not from laziness but from absorption in ideas.
Thermal: Markedly warm. The Sulphur patient is aggravated by heat in every form. The feet burn at night, compelling the patient to put them out from under the covers.
